Web Developer/Software Development Manager Strong interest in web development and current trends (Web 2.0, Ruby on Rails, Amazon Web Services) and how they can be used improve productivity and quality of service whilst at the same time cutting the cost of service provision. More recently I have also worked on a number of web based projects for smaller private companies.

Freelance consultancy role. Working in a small team, as a Functional Designer I work with the business and translate their high level business requirements into technical solutions for the Online Retail Banking channel. Our solutions drive the online banking experience for Barclays 6 million UK customers.

As Technical Director, I was responsible for taking the idea for TicketSense and developing a robust, scalable service. Together with a talented team of developers, and using Ruby on Rails with agile processes we delivered quality, tested software in short delivery cycles.
